Q3 breakdown shows massive 247 percent jump in Asia-Pacific

Expanding on a press announcement, Apple has posted a detailed breakdown (PDF) of its third-quarter results. Regionally the company's revenues grew 63 percent in the Americas year-over-year, from $6.227 billion to $10.126 billion. European revenues were up 71 percent to $7.098 billion, while Japan climbed 66 percent to $1.51 billion. The most dramatic growth, though, was achieved in the broad Asia-Pacific region, which rocketed up 247 percent to $6.332 billion....
