Swipe 5.0, a system for processing credit and debit card payments on iOS devices, has been released by AppNinjas. The new software is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, and until May 31 comes with a free card reader valued at $80. Swipe carries a monthly charge of $25 for access to the Authorize.net gateway, but has no monthly minimums, set-up or activation fees. The company also charges 24 cents, plus 1.74 percent of the amount charged for qualified charges. In addition, the price of Swipe has been reduced from $30 down to $1....
