Apple has placed production orders for 380,000 new-model MacBook Airs this month, Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tells AppleInsider. The claim is based on industry checks, which also allegedly indicate that about 55 percent of the units will be 11.6-inch systems.
